Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This page describes how blackbeltclub.eu uses them — and what we measure without one.
1. An advertising cookie only with your consent
- The Club advertises on Google Ads and wants to know whether an ad brought anyone to sign up for a trial session. For this we use the Google Ads measurement tag, which may set a cookie named
_gcl_au. - This cookie is not set without your consent. The tag is configured so that all permissions are denied by default and are switched on only once you give consent.
- If you do not give consent, the website works exactly the same. The only difference is that the Club cannot see whether you arrived through an ad.
2. Visit statistics, without a cookie
- We use Plausible Analytics to measure visits. It does not set a cookie or store your IP address, so it does not require consent.
- We only see aggregate numbers — how many visits, which pages are viewed, how long people stay on average. You are not identified or tracked as an individual.
- The data is not shared with third parties or used for advertising — it's only for the Club itself, to see whether the website is doing its job.
3. Technical cookies
- WordPress sets cookies only when logging in to the administration area. These concern only the site's administrators.
- When the consent banner is in use, it remembers your choice so that you are not asked the same thing on every page.
- No other cookies are stored on a regular visitor's device.
4. Third-party content
- The location pages have an OpenStreetMap map. When the map loads, your browser connects to the OpenStreetMap Foundation's servers, which see your IP address and may use their own cookies. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
- The “Sign up for a trial session” button takes you to Google Forms, where Google's terms and cookies apply.
- The Google Ads measurement tag is loaded from Google's server (
googletagmanager.com). In doing so, Google sees your IP address. A cookie is set only after your consent, see section 1. - Visit statistics are loaded from the plausible.io server, see point 2.
- Our social media links (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) are ordinary links — those sites learn nothing about you until you click them.
5. If something changes
- If we add web analytics or another tracking tool in the future, we will ask for your consent before using cookies and update this page.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser settings.
