Tallinn sports activity support

Training at Sikupilli and Lasnamäe costs less per month if the parent has confirmed the Tallinn sports activity support in favour of Black Belt Club MTÜ. Without that confirmation, the standard price applies.

The confirmation is made in the Tallinn e-service taotlen.tallinn.ee (Benefits and services → Sports activity support). The support is available for 5–19-year-olds who are registered residents of Tallinn. The money goes from the city directly to the club — the parent only chooses the recipient.

If an athlete joins mid-year, the support may not yet apply for that year. We will clarify this when you join. For training at Lagedi and Kindluse, Rae municipality support may be available.

School year and payment

School year

The Black Belt Club school year runs from 1 September to 31 August.

Tuition is set for the full school year of the athletic development programme.

Payment

The programme fee is set for the full school year.

The programme can be paid:

  • in monthly instalments;
  • as a full school-year prepayment.

Paying the programme fee in up to 12 equal monthly instalments is only a payment method and does not change the total cost of the programme.

If you join during the school year

If an athlete joins after the school year has started, the programme fee is calculated in proportion to the period remaining until the end of the school year.

If an athlete joins mid-month, the first month's tuition is calculated in proportion to the calendar days from the membership start date to the end of that month.

Keeping your place over the summer

If an athlete does not attend training during the summer period (1 June to 31 August), their place in the training group can be kept by paying 50% of the current monthly fee.

  • applies only when paying monthly;
  • applies for a maximum of two consecutive months between 1 June and 31 August;
  • the Club must be notified of the wish to keep the place by the 15th of the current month (inclusive) for the change to take effect from the start of the next calendar month.

If the programme fee has been paid as a single payment, tuition for the full school year is considered paid and the summer place-keeping terms do not apply. Tuition is not recalculated. Detailed terms are set out in the membership and tuition services agreement.

Other fees

  • Belt exams
  • Training camps

  • Estonian Taekwondo Federation licence fees (if needed)

Discounts

Up to 8%

Prepayment discount

  • monthly payment — no discount;
  • full school-year prepayment — 8%.

If an athlete joins during the school year, the discount is calculated in proportion to the remaining programme fee.

For families

Family discount

With two or more athletes from the same family, we agree the discount individually.

Tax benefit

Income tax relief

Black Belt Club is a registered private hobby school. Under the conditions set by law, the Club's tuition can be treated as training expenses, and a parent may be able to get part of the income tax paid back through their tax return.

At the 2026 income tax rate, the relief can be up to 22% of the training expenses paid, taking into account the limits set by law and the parent's taxable income.

Competitions

Taking part in competitions is voluntary and subject to the coach's approval. The organiser's registration fee and other participation costs are paid separately. A Club coaching fee applies for coaching the athlete at competitions:
